Women safety on Internet

With the advent of internet there came a significant paradigm shift in the dissemination of information , modes of communication , knowledge gaining process and human relationship. In this post -enlightenment period where we work for feminism and gender equality ,we see women are harrassed online and due to the fear of harrassment most abandon has abandon surfing internet. Internet is helping us getting socially closer to eachother but harrassments reported has created a gap in newly constructed model of socialization.
According to research by Amnesty International surveying more than 4,000 women "more than one in five women have experienced online harassment or abuse". This report does'nt suggest any women to stray away from social media platforms and diverge form the fast and cheap medium, but it suggests how many women don't know their rights.
So to stay tangled and attached with the internet , know the laws which will help you:
IT Act 2000
The act defines cyber crimes and prescribes penalties for them.

Section 66E of the act deals with "publishing private images of others" and if a person captures, transmits or publishes images of a person's private parts without his/her consent or knowledge can get imprisonment up to three years, or/and with fine up to 200,000.

Section 67 of the act defines "publishing information which is obscene in electronic form" and if a person publishes or transmits or causes to be published in the electronic form, any material which is lascivious or appeals to the prurient interest or if its effect is such as to tend to deprave and corrupt persons who are likely, having regard to all relevant circumstances, to read, see or hear the matter contained or embodied in it can get imprisonment up to five years, or/and with fine up to 1,000,000.

Section 67A defines "publishing images containing sexual acts and if  a person publishes or transmits images containing a sexual explicit act or conduct may get Imprisonment up to seven years, or/and with fine up to 1,000,000.

In 2008,section 66A was introduced by amending IT Act 2000.It penalized sending of "offensive messages". Provisions addressing voyeurism were also introduced in 2008 amendment.
So you should not retreat from using internet and if someone is harrassing you , you can lodge an FIR at any cyber police station and culprit will be punished and penalized as per law.

Kashmiri's have fences both sides

After deadly attack in Pulwama , the situation in Kashmir became more worse and i recalled the era of Maqbool Bhat when various Kashmiri's even JKLF co -founder was suspected and wanted in both India and Pakistan.
History repeats itself
Was Maqbool Bhat a politician or active anti Indian or anti Pakistani doesn't matter for both India and Pakistan because both countries considered him for a while against their respective nations. But when he was hanged on 11 Feb 1948 in Tihar Jail ,New Delhi protests rocked across Kashmir and Pakistan occupied Kashmir. The aftermath was something unexpected.Pakistan started considering Bhat as their loyal  and India as their enemy.Overall after sometime India managed to control the situation and normalcy returned. But nowadays situation is something else. The way of militancy and protests against security forces in Kashmir has changed and government of India needs to change the policies accordingly to maintain peace , law and order and overall communal harmony which Kashmir is sharing since existence.
I would not blame only India or Pakistan , Pro Indian Kashmiri politicians and anti Indian separatist but i blame every Indian , every Pakistani and every citizen of Jammu and Kashmir. No doubt, politicians are using people for their own cheap ends and using every skill to trigger violence in Kashmir but what about 21st century educated peoples?.Are they still puppets in the hands of mostly illiterate politicians? History repeats itself but we learn from previous mistakes that is why "History makes you wise without wrinkles on your face", but here in Indian subcontinent we don't learn.

Contemporary Situation
The Pulwama aftermath had an  adverse effects which effected both the countries relations but question is why Kashmiri is targeted? If Kashmiri's have no right to interfere in the matters like Foreign affairs and Communication then why are they being treated like anti -nationals?Why Indians and Pakistani's do experiment on the soil of Kashmir and on Kashmiri's living outside state?
After Pulwama attack Kashmiri's living outside valley were being beaten , harassed  and were ordered to vacant rented rooms because they are being considered the masterminds behind deadly attack at Lethpora ,Pulwama.
Students , businessmen , bureaucrats and tourist , all fall prey to violent goons. Is every Kashmiri behind that attack ? Is this solution? Is this the way to condemn any attack? If it is your way then you are leading towards hatred and war but if you will collectively try to nab those who are behind any kind of violence, bloodshed and killings in Kashmir, you will find peace and solution.
